Visa and Currency

Visa Information

Nationals of the following states may enter into Bosnia and Herzegovina with a passport or a valid identity card proving identity and citizenship of:  
- Member State of the European Union
- State signatory to the Schengen Agreement
- Andorra, Montenegro, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, Serbia, Republic of North Macedonia
the Holy See and Swiss Confederation

If you come from the Republic of Kosovo to entering into Bosna and Herzegovina you need a visa which costs 31€.

Currency Information

The Bosnian Convertible Mark is the currency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The currency code for Convertible Marks is BAM, and the currency symbol is KM. It is the only acceptable currency in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Money can be converted into BAM in every bank and exchange office.
