The workshop location is Campus Melaten of RWTH Aachen. The meeting will be in the main lecture hall of the physics building (Hoersaal Physik 28D001). Eduroam and power outlets are available. The lecture hall has about 120 places with two persons sharing a table/bench.

Campus Melaten is about 3.4 km from downtown Aachen, where most of the hotels, restaurants and shops are. If you are interested you can walk, otherwise public transport brings you to the Campus. Here is the general link to the local transportation company (ASEAG). Please use bus stop "Campus Melaten Physikzentrum". Most useful bus lines is 33 (also runs on Saturday and holiday). On Thursday many more lines run: 12, 22, 23, and 73, 173.

Bus tickets can be bought at any ticket machine (e.g. train station), on www.bahn.de (Deutsche Bahn, you use this also for the train), or online. See instructions here. We recommend a "Welcome ticket" for 15.50 Euro which allows travling on 3 consecutive days.

Outside the lecture hall the welcome desk is located and a catering service will provide a buffet lunch and coffee breaks.
Expect parking possibilities to be very limited on Thursday. Friday is a local holiday and parking should be easier, same for Saturday. A guest parking permit is needed anyway.
