The Higgs 2020 online conference 

Dear participants of the Higgs 2020 Online Conference,

Since the Higgs 2020 conference will begin in a few days, we would like to share some important information with you.
 

For all registrants

The timetable has been slightly updated during the last weekend. Please verify the up-to-date information on indico.

Important: the Central European Summer Time will end on Sunday 25th October. For those who are going to participate in the conference from different time zones, please check the correct time difference.

Each session can be connected via the following links. The password will be sent to all participants. In case the number of connections to the webinar exceeds the limit, webcasts are also available for the plenary sessions. All presentations will be recorded, and uploaded to indico.

For speakers

Instructions for speakers were sent 18 October, which includes all technical information. If you have any questions or doubts, do not hesitate to contact us at: 

Higgs2020-VirtualLOC@cern.ch.

On the day of your presentation, please be sure to connect to the zoom room at least 30 minutes before your presentation, and upload your slides the day prior to your talk by 18:00 CET. Last minute modifications to the slides can be made until one hour before the start of the session. All speakers should have the credentials to upload their slides. The speaker will be asked to broadcast on zoom their slides. Please make sure to try the sharing mode well in advance. 
 

For audience

Question for the presentation by the “raise hand” button. Once the session chair acknowledges you, you can unmute the mic and ask your question. Questions can also be submitted through the Q&A function in Zoom.
 

Public event

Luciano Maiani, Professor Emeritus at Sapienza Università di Roma and member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, will hold a public lecture on Wednesday, October 28 at 18:00 CET. All participants of the Higgs2020 online conference, as well as the general public, are invited to participate in the event. For more information, access to the webpage:
