Science Communication Hackathon at CERN

This hackathon aims to give participants the opportunity to tackle important challenges in science communication today, particularly in the context of the physics and technologies relevant to CERN.  We expect this hackathon to be of interest to scientists, designers, communicators, tech experts, and prototypers.  Participants will have the chance to visit underground facilities at CERN, take part in interactive workshops to develop their hacking skills, and build networks with future colleagues, collaborators, and friends.

The most promising solutions from the hackathon will be incubated and additional resources will be made available to further develop and deploy them in collaboration with the organisers, team members, mentors, and partners.

The organisers particularly encourage applications from a diverse community and additional support may be available to potential attendees who highlight a barrier to their attendance. Each application will be assessed individually.
