Accommodation

For those of you who intend to travel to Geneva for the hackathon weekend, please carefully review the travel restrictions imposed by Switzerland (link) and CERN (link). Prior to your arrival to CERN, we will share with you all the relevant safety information including CERN’s instruction on COVID-19 related health and safety measures. You will also have to complete a self-declaration form, which is mandatory to access the CERN sites.

Please note that visitors arriving from a country or area mentioned in at least one of the lists of countries and areas with a high risk of coronavirus infection published by the Swiss or French authorities will not be allowed on CERN sites during 10 days upon arrival. Furthermore, the pandemic situation is dynamic and rapidly evolving, with a non-zero risk of the event being canceled or postponed, or some regions of Switzerland and/or France going into lockdown. Please take this into consideration before you confirm your travel plans.
