Following the 9th HL-LHC Collaboration Meeting at Fermilab in October 2019, we had planned to hold the 2020 Collaboration Meeting in Uppsala, Sweden. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions and the resulting uncertainty about international travel in October 2020, we have decided to postpone the meeting in Uppsala by one year and, instead, organise the 10th Collaboration Meeting in the form of a virtual meeting by video.

We know this will create a very different experience and atmosphere for the 2020 annual meeting but will ensure the participation of the maximum number of collaborators.

This meeting will only feature plenary talks (October 6-7) with the main objective of updating all collaboration partners on the first results of key HL-LHC prototype tests as well as highlighting the progress made during LS2, in particular the advancement of integration and civil engineering works. The meeting will be preceded by the traditional Collaboration Board meeting (October 5) which is also organised as a virtual meeting.

Remote participation in the meeting is by invitation only, and registration is mandatory and without fee.

For organizational purposes, please note that only registrants will receive the video link to connect to plenary sessions. The video details will be communicated one week before the meeting.

Attendance in the Main Auditorium will be limited to HiLumi colleagues at CERN authorized by the organizers upon request to the HL-LHC Secretariat before October 1st, in strict compliance with the sanitary measures in force.

Session conveners:

Tuesday 6 October 2020: Mike Lamont (BE) & Jose-Miguel Jimenez (TE)

Wednesday 7 October 2020: Roberto Losito (EN) & Markus Zerlauth (TE)
