Travel to Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-Provencehometown is the hometown of the famous painter Paul Cézanne. This city of water and art, located in the south of France was the former capital of Provence. Aix has a Mediterranean climate with more than 300 days of sunshine per year.

Fly to Aix-en-Provence

The nearest international airport is the Aéroport Marseille Provence. There is a public shuttle bus (line 40) every 30 min from the airport to Aix-en-Provence downtown (the fare is about 10 €), from where you can easily get to any hotel by taxi or with the public transport bus service of Aix-en-Provence.

Take the train to Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-Provence has two railway stations. One (Aix-en-Provence Centre) is located in the downtown city whereas the other one (Aix-en-Provence TGV) is situated at 15 km. The same public shuttle bus (line 40) as for the Airport permit to connect the outside railway station with the Aix-en-Provence downtown.
