Actions: *Area leaders: send the harmonization plan of their areas. deadline: 29 June not done by Laurence. *Area leaders: send the evolution plan of their areas. deadline: 29 June. not done by Laurence * Balazs: updates the PT wiki page in view of the "new" info posted in the PT development plans done * Morris: propose a process so that the "EMI big picture", the EMI ecosystem is not lost. deadline: 30 June the action item was a misunderstanding. * Balazs clarifies the release schedule with SA1. deadline: 29 June ongoing. 2) Technical Development plan: status summary Balazs provided the detailed status of the DNA1.3.1 "high level plan". 3) Scope of the different documents: overall plan vs. area plans agreed that the overall plan (DNA1.3.1) will contain the three year plan from a very high level perspective. Plans will be presented for each product teams. In addition to the PT plans, the harmonization sections for each area will describe the "convergence" of the area. also agreed that the four area plans (JRA1.1.1, etc..) will contain only the first year plan but that should be quite detailed. The template earlier posted by Massimo should be used by all the areas (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7639059/EMI_DJRA1.1.1.doc). 4) Next steps: howto proceed, process, decisions? Long discussion about the "process", methodology regarding the creation of the development plan. Agreement: As an immediate next step the PT development plans proposed by the PT leaders and collected in Section 9 must be approved by the area leaders. Once the area approval is done, Balazs will shorten the PT plans to fit into the appropriate section. Agreement: The missing security and infrastructure area plans should be provided by Thursday 8 July, end of working day Balazs recalls that DNA1.3.1 will be the first document that will list the EMI products and product teams (Section 3). Balazs will compose the list of PTs, product and add it to Section 3 of the DNA1.3.1 Long discussion started about EMI components. Morris revealed that some products on the EMI PT wiki were not initially part of the EMI software stack. Long discussion about components in/out EMI and its consequence. Clarification is needed on the project management level. Morris raised the question "how to reach objective the objective of cutting products, simplifying portfolio?" Patrick thinks adding few extra (non-agreed) components is OK as long as no extra efforts are requested. Morris thinks it is wrong and will lead to an increased list of EMI products. During the meeting a mail was received from Alberto who asked for tech plan status presentation, especially concerning the "structure and main principles" of the plan. Consensus that such a presentation can earliest made towards the end of the next week, after the presentation is discussed within PTB first. Therefore, a PTB meeting is scheduled for next week Tuesday to discuss the "PEB presentation": 13 Tuesday 14-16 5) AOB, including next meeting next meeting: Tuesday, 13 July 14-16 Area leaders would like to know their appointed deliverable reviewers. ACTIONS: --------- * Laurence and John posts the area plans (harmonization and evolution) for security and infrastructure by Thursday 8 July, end of working day * Balazs clarifies the release schedule with SA1. * Balazs ask Alberto for a product table used in the EMI planning, also asks what the relevance is of that table? * Morris sends at least the names and a short description of the new JRA1 Product Teams: 9th July * all: send Balazs any kind of requirement list you can think of being useful for EMI * Balazs: raise issue of mismatch of the products/product teams in the planning excel and the current proposed table. * Area leaders: approve the PT plans.
