The LISA Workshop takes place on the campus of Johannes-Gutenberg University of Mainz.

Arriving by public traffic
The campus is easily accessible by tram and city bus from Mainz Main Station. At the main station there are several bus stops, which are marked with letters (see bus stop plan).
Tram lines:
Line 50 direction "Lerchenberg"
Line 51 direction "Lerchenberg"
Line 59 direction “Hochschule Mainz”
From main station A or main station West
Bus lines:
Line 55 direction "Finthen", from main station E or main station West
Line 56 direction "Wackernheim", from main station E or main station West
Line 75 direction "Schwabenheim", from main station O or main station West
Please get off at the stop "Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg".
Travel time: about 6 minutes.
For the journey from the Mainz main station to the Universität stop, you can buy a short hop ticket known as a Kurzstrecken-Ticket in German. It is cheaper than a normal ticket and can be purchased from the bus driver or from a ticket machine. You can find additional information online on the website of the Mainz public transport operator, Mainzer Mobilität.
