Excursion

 

A half day excursion is foreseen on Wednesday afternoon.
We will take a bus tour to the East Lothians, 

 

Meeting point

1.30 pm in front of the registration building of Pollock Halls 

where we will board the buses

 

The tour will take us to:

 

–North Berwick with Scottish Seabird centre 
 
 
–Dirleton castle
 
 
–Chesters Hill Fort
Chesters Hill Fort - Visit East Lothian

 

 

The time schedule for the excursion is as follows:

•             1.30pm collection from Pollock Halls

•             2.30pm Drop-off at Seabird Centre North Berwick for 1 hour

•             3.30pm drop-off at Dirleton Castle for 45mins

•             4.30pm drop off at Chesters Hill for 45mins

•             5.30pm head to Carberry Tower, Musselburgh for dinner

•             6 to 6.30pm arrive at Carberry Tower for the conference dinner

•             10pm buses collect from Carberry to drop off at Pollock Halls

 

 
 

Conference dinner 

The conference dinner is foresee at Wednesday evening, right after the excursion, in the suggestive location of Carberry Tower (https://carberrytower.com/), a 15th-century castle dates back to Mary, Queen of Scots, sets in 40 acres of stunning parkland located 12.9 Km from the Edinburgh city centre.
