Recently Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has released the Leica Absolute Tracker AT500 as a successor of the Leica Absolute Tracker AT403.
The new system bridges the portability and large volume capabilities of the AT40x with the productivity of the AT9x0 and ATS600 series.
The development of the AT500 has put a strong focus on application types, that used to be solved with AT40x systems, like long-range measurements, levelling, autocollimation, entry-level probing and other applications where portability and ease of use is key.
The paper will present representative applications how the AT500 can help solving these measurement tasks, including the available accessories.
