Prior to registration and payment of the above mentioned amount, please check with your institute on how to claim back the registration fees.
We accept payments made by bank transfer and credit card only.
If you need an invoice, please contact iwaa.2022@cern.ch prior submitting your payment by using the following template.
Please kindly note that an invoice can only be established if the outstanding amount will be then paid by bank transfer.
If the payment is done by credit card, we can only issue a receipt and acknowledge the payment. This may take up to 15 days to receive it.

Please ensure that the bank transfer is charged to you as participant/exhibitor and no charges shall be issued to CERN. Please kindly note the following additional costs for transactions made by credit card:
- 2.5 % of the transaction for payments by VISA or Mastercard
- around 3.7 % by American Express
Conference fees:
The conference fees are set to 350.00 CHF per person and include the following:
- location of the venue place
- the daily coffee breaks and lunches
- Ice Breaking Cocktail on Monday evening, 31st October 2022 at CERN
- any transports from/to the venue and social events
Exhibitors fees:
The exhibitors fees are set to 500.00 CHF per person (400 CHF for the 2nd accompanyng person) and include the following:
- location of the venue place
- the daily coffee breaks and lunches
- Ice Breaking Cocktail on Monday evening, 31st October 2022 at CERN
Social programme:
The fees to attend further social activities per person are as follows:
- Tuesday, 1st November 2022 "Swiss Cheese Fondue "at Bain des Paquis: around 50 CHF
- Wednesday, 2nd November 2022 "Banquet" at La table du Lac, Divonne-Les-Bains: 77 CHF
(Thursday, 3rd November 2022: free evening to socialise and discover Ferney-Voltaire or Geneva)
Cancellation Policy:
A request must be made in writing to iwaa.2022@cern.ch including the bank details to receive a possible refund.
The deadline to request any refund is set to Friday, 21st October 2022.
The refund will include the reimbursement of any payments made for the social events at full price and half the amount of the registration fees.
