Description

The Siam Photon Source II (SPS-II) project is a new synchrotron facility construction in Thailand. Recently, SPS-II was completely designed in the conceptual stage and will be the largest scientific project not only in Thailand but in the South East Asia countries. The new machine will strengthen the scientific community in the region providing high performance option for photon experiments. The SPS-II accelerator complexes are including of the linac, booster circumference 304.8 m, and 3 GeV electron beam energy that it is a 300 mA beam current of storage ring. The storage ring is composed of 14 DTBA cells with make 327.502 m total ring circumference and 0.96 nm.rad emittance. In order to ensure that the machine components are placed according to the physics requirements, the survey and alignment procedures have to be defined and will be described in this presentation.
