HEP2023 Conference Third Announcement
Dear colleague,
We would like to inform you that the conference will start in few days (9 of January). Please find below some information related to the conference and your travel and stay in Chile.
Registration and Abstract submission
The registration and abstracts submission closing date is 6 of January 2023.
Conference fee payment
We remind you, dear colleague, that the conference fee can be paid through the payment website: https://autoservicio.usm.cl/hepchile/index.html, or the first day of the conference by cash or by credit/debit card. You will receive a confirmation email after the validation of your payment (this may take. Please bring a copy of the receipt to the conference. The fee covers the participation to the conference, the welcome kit, the welcome banquet, as well as coffee breaks and lunches for the duration of the conference.
Timetable
A preliminary timetable has been posted on the conference website. A slight changes to the agenda may occur in order to satisfy some speakers request
Official Dinner
The official conference dinner will take place at the Nogaró Restaurant, located in Viña del Mar. The cost of the dinner is CLP 60,000 (tax and tips included). If you wish to participate, you can make the payment by credit/debit card or cash (CLP) upon arrival to the conference. Excursions
We have scheduled half a day for excursions with a local tour operator. You may find more tour information, as well as the price list on the following link: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1158681/page/28096-excursions
Local Transportation
Airport shuttle service: The contact for a shuttle service operator has been added to the Local Transportation section for those of you who wish to book a private/shared shuttle service from and to the airport.
Hotel-USM-Hotel shuttle service: A shuttle service to and from the Conference site will be available for the duration of the Conference. The routes and schedules can be found in the following link: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1158681/page/25567-local-transportations
Accommodations
The arrangement of accommodation is not part of the registration procedure. A list of hotels can be found under the "Accommodation" link in the conference website. If you need assistance with hotel reservation, please contact our conference administrative assistant Marioly Neira at marioly.neira@usm.cl.

January is a wonderful and busy time to visit Chile. Airfares currently look good but will start rising soon. We recommend to book tickets as soon as possible.
