Following the 11th HL-LHC Collaboration Meeting held in digital format in October 2021, the 12th HL-LHC Collaboration Meeting will take place in Uppsala, Sweden, from 19th to 22nd September 2022. The return to an in-person meeting was chosen after consultations with all collaboration partners and aims to re-establish the personal contacts between the HL-LHC collaborators that were missing in the last two collaboration meetings.

Based on the traditional programme with plenary and work package parallel sessions, this meeting will serve as a technical update forum for the 6th Cost and Schedule Review, scheduled for 15th to 16th November 2022, and provides the framework for additional collaborative meetings between the project partners.

The main objectives will be to update all HiLumi collaborators on the results of key HL-LHC prototypes tests, to highlight the progress made in the transition from prototype validation to series production, and to update all collaborators on the latest schedule changes. As in previous editions, the meeting will include a restricted session for the 12th HL-LHC Collaboration Board in the afternoon of Tuesday, 20th September 2022.

This annual meeting foresees a common banquet and a visit to the FREIA test station at the Ångström Laboratory.

Participation in the meeting is by invitation only, and registration is mandatory and without fee. Pratical information on access, catering, accommodation and the FREIA visit can be found at: SharePoint site.

Furthermore, a satellite workshop on the Long-Range Beam-Beam Wire (WP2 Accelerator Physics & WP13 Beam Instrumentation) is also planned at Uppsala University in the framework of the Collaboration Meeting on Friday 23rd September 2022. More information is available on the Satellite meeting website.
