Covid regulations are ever changing. At the time of writing no specific requirement is enforced to enter Italy, but one should always refer to this website for official directions and updates.
Specific recommendations
In Italy wearing a FFP2, KN95 or better facial mask is mandatory on buses, trains and other public transportation vehicles.
INFN Torino will be hosting us in the historic Italian city of Cuneo, in the south-west of Piemonte about 90km from Torino, close to the French border.

Airport connections
The main airports serving Cuneo are:
- Torino Caselle (TRN/LIMF): incoming flights timetable
- Milano Malpensa (MXP/LIMC):
- Cuneo Levaldigi (CUF/LIMZ): incoming flights
General and specific connections from the airports to Cuneo are described below.
1.→ From Torino Caselle to Cuneo
The Torino Caselle International Airport is connected to the city of Torino by a shuttle bus. Directions and instructions can be found here.
In order to reach Cuneo the best option is to get the shuttle bus from the airport to the Torino Porta Nuova station (Piazza Carlo Felice bus stop) and from there get one of the trains to Cuneo.

2.→ From Milano Malpensa to Cuneo
Travelling from Milano Malpensa international airport firstly requires to reach Milano Centrale train station.
This can be done with the Malpensa Express service (train and bus depending on the time of day). Directions are found here.
Once at Milano Centrale train station there are several options to reach Torino. Refer to the train line website here leaving from Milano Centrale and reaching Torino (Porta Nuova suggested, Porta Susa can work but a short subway connection would be required).

3.→ From Cuneo Levaldigi to Cuneo
Cuneo Levaldigi is a small airport with only some specific connections, but it can make the travel way more optimised.
In case you plan to fly to Levaldigi, please reach out to us.
While a taxi or a shuttle bus towards Cuneo (~15km) could be an option, we can try to put in place a lift using our cars.

Trains towards Cuneo are leaving every hour and 25 minutes, with those leaving at odd hours being direct and those leaving at even hours having a connection at Fossano (with the train towards Limone Piemonte, which stops at Cuneo).

There is no need for transportation in Cuneo itself it being a 60k inhibitants city with the usual public transport opportunities. The size of the city makes walking around the best and most efficient way to reach all the places we'll be in, while we can offer lifts in case of need. Reach out to us in such cases.
