Where: CERN Main Auditorium, Geneva
Target Audience: An estimated number of 300 participants from Academia and Industry, open to participants from institutes around the globe.
Background: Following CERN’s successful workshop on quantum computing in 2018, this is the first edition of the #QT4HEP conference taking place to further investigate the nascent quantum technology and its great promise to support scientific research.
Bringing the whole community together, we aim to foster common activities and knowledge sharing, discuss the recent developments in the quantum science field and keep looking for activities within HEP — and beyond — that can most benefit from the application of quantum technologies.
The event will cover a number of topics ranging from four quantum technology areas (theory, sensing, computing, communication), to collaborations with academia and industry, entrepreneurship, training and education activities.
There will also be a series of tutorials and hands-on sessions co-developed with companies and providers, to explore the fascinating field of quantum science to its possible fullest.
Sponsorship packages
Logistics package - 3 000 CHF (three available packages)
This package will help us with the general costs of the event, such as parts of the catering costs and the general service costs of the conference.
The benefits of the sponsor are;
- Company logo visible on the conference website welcome page;
- Short motivation provided by the company explaining why you are supporting the event (max 200 words), to be put on conference website;
- Recognition during conference welcome and closing session talks;
- One waived conference fee for company delegate.
Conference connectors package - 5 000 CHF (two available packages -Two Reserved)
One package will sponsor the cost of the networking cocktail taking part on the Wednesday evening. The other package will sponsor the lunch during the Industry day.
The benefits of the sponsor are;
- Company logo visible on the conference website welcome page;
- Short motivation provided by the company explaining why you are supporting the event (max 200 words), to be put on conference website;
- Recognition during conference welcome and closing session talks;
- Possibility to put a sponsor pop-up banner in the cocktail area during the event (It is upon the company to bring or send us the banner);
- Possibility to give a talk before the networking cocktail;
- Two waived conference fees for company delegates.
Future lights package - 15 000 CHF (one available package- Reserved)
This package will sponsor students who have been selected by CERN as suitable candidates by covering their travel, lodging and conference costs. It will also sponsor the poster session to be organised during the event.
The benefits of the sponsor are;
- Company logo visible on the conference website welcome page;
- Short motivation provided by the company explaining why you are supporting the event (max 200 words), to be put on event website;
- Recognition during welcome and closing session talks;
- Possibility to put a sponsor pop-up banner in the poster session area during the event (It is upon the company to bring or send us the banner);
- Possibility to give a 30 min talk during one of the event days;
- Mentioning in the news article and social media posts concerning the event, produced by the CERN QTI communications team;
- Up to five waived conference fees for company representatives.
