Insurance
If you make a short stay in France as an insured national of the European Economic Area (EEA), you must hold a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). This allows you to benefit from the care of your care in France by accessing the French health system more easily. If you do not have this kind of insurance covering you in France, you are under the strict obligation to take the necessary measures to safeguard yourself against the economic consequences of illness, accidents and disability throughout your stay. This obligation also applies to any family members who may be accompanying you.

We strongly recommend that you enquire at the relevant consulates to find out the conditions of admission applicable to you in France, specifying the duration of your visit.
