You better book a hotel room as soon as possible, for there are not many hotels in Tsukuba, and one of them is nearly full for the workshop period for some reason. We have made a limited number of block booking, but we need to release them rather early.
Please let us know in the registration form if you would like a room via the block booking.
If you book hotel rooms yourselves, it is recommended to check the location:
- Near to "Tsukuba center", so that you can easily find public transportation, with a need of daily transportation to the meeting venue (see Meeting Venue)
- Near to the venue, KEK, so that you don't have to worry too much about daily transportation
- Near to the Tsukuba Express line stations, for easier access to "Tsukuba center"
You may find a better price in booking sites than at the hotel site even with the block booking. You can try either with the world famous booking site of your choice, or with the following Japanese sites:

- Direct reservation at the web site offers a lower rate, though it seems only "smoking" rooms are available, probably due to the block booking. Let us know if you would like us to reduce the block booking of non-smoking rooms.
