Rough Time Table

Pre-Workshop

In order to ensure the workshop actually results in something we will need to organize at least 2 virtual meetings prior to the workshop. The first one of these will be at the start of September followed by a second one in the middle of September. Merlin will send out a doodle at some point to find an exact time.

The goal of the first meeting is to outline the exact goals of the workshop and list what needs to be done before showing up there (for example we need to discus which software is needed by whom and ensure those who need to install something have it ready and tested before the workshop). The goal of the second one is to check the progress and come up with a more detailed to do list for the workshop.

Geneva Kick-Off

The kick-off of the workshop will take place at the University of Geneva on the 9th of October from 9 am until 12 am. Here everyone will be able to give a 10 minute presentation on their recent work to get to know each other better. In addition the detailed goals of the meeting will be discussed.

This will be followe by lunch at the University after which we will leave for Nendaz (a 2-3 hour trip).

Nendaz

We will arrive in the afternoon in Nendaz. On the first day we will simply setup everything. The following 4 days will be used to develop / test the software and to produce the first results.

We will leave Nendaz around noon on the Friday to get back to Geneva where we should arrive before the end of the afternoon, thereby allowing people to either leave in the evening on the Friday or on Saturday.
