Proceedings

Papers from both oral and poster presentations in ICNFP 2024 will be published after a peer review process. ICNFP 2024 propose various possibilities to submit papers. The links to submission to various journals appear below. You cannot submit a paper to more than one journal at the same time.

Overview: you have the possibility to submit your paper to the journal " Particles " of MDPI Publishing, or to one of the journals IJMPA, IJMPA and MPLA of World Scientific Publishing, depending on the topics (see below for more details) or to the journal IJMPCS of World Scientific Publishing. "Particles", IJMPA, IJMPE, MPLA have refereing criteria as for normal journal publications, namely requesting novel results (even if preliminary) and sometimes may accept reviews too, the IJMPCS has refereing criteria as for usual conference proceedings (no novelty required). The deadlines for submission may be different depending on the journal.

See below for the details.

Please note that the conference fee covers the publication of one paper based on either oral or poster presentation. For those that gave more than one presentation, there is a separate fee of 100 USD for every additional paper submitted for publication.

1.  Special Issue Particles:

This is a call for submissions for a Special Issue entitled "Selected Papers from the XIII International Conference on New Frontiers in Physics, 26 Aug. - 4 Sept. 2024, OAC, Kolymbari, Crete Greece.  All submissions will be peer-reviewed. We welcome original articles or review articles. The novelty standards for original articles are the same as for regular submissions. There is no page limit for either type of submission. The publication in this Special Issue is free of article processing charge for the submitters and is open access. If you receive automatic email from the journal asking you to pay article processing charge, please ignore it. It will be available as a hard-copy book (example) or as a free download.  For submission and guidelines, please follow the link:

https://www.mdpi.com/journal/particles/special_issues/ICNFP2024

Submission Deadline: 31 Dec  2024.

If your paper does not pass the criteria of refereing for regular submissions of this Special Issue, or if you prefer to not submit your paper to this Special Issue, you have the opportunity to publish elsewhere, including the option of standard criteria of refereing for usual conference proceedings. See below.

2) For papers based on talks or poster presentations given during ICNFP2024 the following options for publication of the materials are also offered:

2.1) peer-reviewed publication in one of 3 journals depending on their topics:
- IJMPA – High Energy Particle Physics, Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology, Gravity, Mathematical Physics, Other topics (https://www.worldscientific.com/worldscinet/ijmpa)
- IJMPE – Nuclear/Astro-nuclear Physics & Heavy Ion Collisions
(https://www.worldscientific.com/worldscinet/ijmpe)
- MPLA – Quantum Physics, Foundations of Quantum Mechanics
(https://www.worldscientific.com/worldscinet/mpla)

2.2) peer-reviewed proceeding-like publication in a Proceedings Volume in International Journal of Modern Physics: Conference Series (IJMPCS)
https://www.worldscientific.com/worldscinet/ijmpcs

IJMPA, IJMPE and MPLA are journals with quartiles in WOS and are not conference proceeding journals. Therefore, they all require a higher attention than conference proceeding journals, namely, a submitted manuscript is supposed to be a well detailed paper with long introduction, clear presentation and conclusions,  suitable for wide scope and interdisciplinary readers. The article must have no unexplained abbreviations, must have numerous and wide scope of references, and must cite the previous publications when there is an overlap in the text with earlier publications including previous conference proceedings.

Please note that all journals dispose automatic search software that finds all parts of the text that have been already published earlier, including conference proceedings. Any reproduction of parts should be cited.

Special Issue of IJMPA/ IJMPE/MPLA

IJMPA/ IJMPE/MPLA journals are peer-review journals and the contributions to the Special Issue will be published as original articles. The latter means that all the submissions will be considered as regular articles and will undergo a peer-review process with corresponding criteria (see below).

When a paper passes the reviewing procedure and is accepted for publication, it will be forwarded to IJMPA, IJMPE, or MPLA according to its topic:

IJMPA – HEP, Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology, Gravity, Mathematical Physics, Other topics
IJMPE – Nuclear/Astro-nuclear Physics & Heavy Ion Collisions
MPLA – Quantum Physics, Foundations of Quantum Mechanics

There is no strict limit on the number of pages in the contribution, but we suggest the following as a landmark:
- 6-8 pages for 15+5 min talks and posters
- 8-10 pages for 20+5 min talks
- 10-12 pages for 25+5 min talks
- 12-15 pages for longer talks

All papers submitted to the Special Issue of IJMPA/ IJMPE/MPLA must meet the following criteria:

- The paper has to be in scope for the journal

- The paper must be a full-fledged research article that is appropriately referenced (e.g. normally the paper has to be at least 6 pages with more than 10 references, which include both self-citation and citation of other scientific groups in the field)

- The text must be original to a high extent, with no considerable overlap with other published works including conference proceedings

- Copyright for the work must be owned by the authors which will be transferred to World Scientific if the article is accepted.

To submit a manuscript to the  IJMPA/ IJMPE/MPLA, please, choose ''Special Issue: ICNFP 2024’’ in the drop down list at the first stage "Select Article Type" of the submission process:

IJMPA  https://www.editorialmanager.com/ijmpa/default1.aspx

IJMPE https://www.editorialmanager.com/ijmpe/default2.aspx

MPLA https://www.editorialmanager.com/mpla/default2.aspx

The submission deadline for contributions to the Special Issue of IJMPA/ IJMPE/MPLA journals is

31 March 2025.

Proceedings volume in International Journal of Modern Physics: Conference Series (IJMPCS)

There is also the opportunity to submit a proceeding-like contribution to IJMPCS. The proceedings contributions will be peer-reviewed according to the standard proceedings criteria.

If the text contains repetitions of the text published elsewhere including conference proceedings, the previous publication should be cited.

There is no strict limit on the number of pages in the contribution, but we suggest the following as a landmark:
- 6-8 pages for 15+5 min talks and posters
- 8-10 pages for 20+5 min talks
- 10-12 pages for 25+5 min talks
