Oral presentation

Slide preparation

All oral speakers can prepare your slides with Full HD 16:9 aspect ratio.  Also traditional aspect ratio (4:3) is possible as well. Projectors equipped in the session rooms are:

  • Panasonic PT-RZ21K (WUXGA 1920x1200) for room CH1 (Convention Hall 1)
  • Panasonic PT-MZ770 (WUXGA 1920x1200) for other rooms

 

Every session room is equipped with an Windows 10 PC with Microsoft Power Point and Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.

We expect all speakers upload your slides on indico at least 1 hour before your session starts. Session secretaries will download them on the PC right before session starts. She/he helps for opening your file and show on the projector. 

Presentation time

  • Plenary talk
    • 30 minutes presentation (Experimental highlight talk on Monday): 25 min. for talk, 5 min. for Q/A
    • 25 minutes presentation: 20 min. for talk, 5 min. for Q/A
    • 20 minutes presentation (Experimental highlight talk on Monday): 15 min. for talk, 5 min. for Q/A
    • 15 minutes presentation: 12 min. for talk, 3 min. for Q/A
    • Conference highlight talk on Friday: 20 min. without Q/A
    • Flash talk: 5 min. for talk, without Q/A
  • Parallel talk
    • 20 minutes presentation: 15 min. for talk, 5 min. for Q/A

Poster presentation

  • Maximum poster size: A0 (841mm x 1,189mm) Landscape or Portrait

  • Date: September 24 (Tue), 16:35 - 18:30

  • Session room: Convention Hall 2

    • The session room will be open from 13:00 for preparation. Please be ready for a poster presentation at your place before the session. 
      Contribution ID numbers will be put on poster boards. Please find your number and put up your poster accordingly.

     

  • Poster Award: Outstanding poster presentations by early-career researchers will be recognized with a Poster Award, and recipients will be invited to give a flash talk during the plenary session on the final day of the conference. To be fully considered for the award, please upload a PDF file of your poster to Indico by 12:00 PM (Japan Time)
    on Sunday, September 22, the student day of the conference.


 

Printing Poster in Nagasaki

For printing your poster in Nagasaki, there is a store near the venue where you can print posters called Kinkozu Nagasakiekiten Printmarche. It seems to be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
