Free-time in Oxford - Tuesday 11th Evening (Only Coaches provided; meals are not covered):
The delights of the famous University City of Oxford can be explored this evening. You can see the Radcliffe Camera, visit the Bridge of Sighs, the pubs where Tolkien talked of Hobbits, where William Shakespeare drank, where beer has been drunk since 1242 and also visit the famous "hidden" Turn Tavern, if you can find it that is. Coaches from Ridgeway House are foreseen at 6:30pm with a returning coach back later in the evening.
Boat Trip down the Thames - Wednesday 12th Evening: (fully covered event)
A trip down the Thames from Abingdon to Oxford. Join us on a river cruise through the glorious Oxfordshire countryside, through several locks and past the Oxford University boat clubs to arrive in the University city. Coaches leave Ridgeway House from 6:30pm and will pick you up from Oxford to bring you back to the hotel.
Curry Night - Thursday 13th Evening (Only Coaches provided; meals are not covered):
We will be finding a restaurant for you to enjoy one of Britain's favourite dishes - curry. This single word does not however do justice to the variety of dishes and flavours that bear its name and which no trip to Britain is complete without. We will lay on a coach from Ridgeway House at 6:30pm to a local restaurant and also take you back later in the evening.
