Accomodation
Participants are expected to arrange for their accommodation in Pisa. General information about accommodation can be found on the website of the Municipality of Pisa.
There are several choices for accommodations in Pisa, ranging from traditional hotels to privately rented rooms, all within walking distance from the conference venue, and from the main points of interest in Pisa.
The Local Organising Committee pre-booked several rooms at special prices in the hotels shown in the map below. These prices are valid for bookings completed before April 15th.
Lunches
During the conference, participants are free to choose where to have lunch. Near Polo Fibonacci and Scuola Normale Superiore, you'll find a variety of lunch options, including pizzerias, sandwich shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. Check our map for a selection of recommended places.

To Obtain Domestic Currency: those arriving in Italy with foreign currency can obtain Euros through any bank, ATM or bureau de change. ATMs are widespread. Credit cards are accepted in upmarket establishments and shops around the cities. Banks are closed on weekends, but tend to have better rates than casas de cambios.
Possible Means of Payment: You can pay in cash or with a credit card. All major credit and debit cards are accepted in Italy, this payment system is common in Italian shops, which generally display the symbols of the credit cards they accept on the outside door. If you pay by credit card you will be asked to show an identity document.
