Excursion to Chania
The excursion to Chania will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025.
Please take with you:
- Passport
- Hat, sun creme and sunglasses
- Comfortable walking shoes
Please see below the preliminary program of the excursion. You can join any of the events mentioned below if you like and/or take your free time.

Excursion to Chania old town |

| 16:00 | Departure from OAC with bus to Chania. Participants living in hotels should come to OAC at 15:50. |
| 17:00-18:00 | Meet the guide in front of the Municipal Market of Chania (Agora Market) to visit the cathedral, the old town and port, the castle, and the Phare of Chania (ca. 1 hour). |
| 18:00-19:00 | Free time for shopping and walking around in the old town. |
| 19:00-20:05 |
Meet the guide in the Synagogue of Chania for:

| 20:05-23:00 |
Free time (participants living in hotels are free to choose their dinner place and pay for their dinner on their own). ! Participants who live in the OAC can have a free dinner in the taverna "Antigoni " in the old port of Chania (the prepaid menu), upon showing the badge/passport to prove your name. The dinner time is 20:30, but a few people can arrive later (please inform us if you want to arrive later). |

Main Conference excursions
One conference excursion will take place on Sunday, July 27, 2025 and one on Sunday 20, 2025.Please take with you:
- Passport

both men and women should dress modestly (shoulders covered, long pants for men –also acceptable for women, in case they have no knee length or longer dresses/skirts).
