CERN Winter School on Supergravity, Strings and Gauge Theory 2025
The CERN Winter School on Supergravity, Strings and Gauge Theory isย the continuation of the yearly training school of the former EC-RTN string network "Constituents, Fundamental Forces and Symmetries of the Universe".
The school is supported and organized by the CERN Theory Department.
Previous schools in this series can be found at the link to the previous editions in the left menu.ย
Like its predecessors, this school is meant primarily for the training of doctoral students and young postdoctoral researchers in recent developments in theoretical high-energy physics and string theory.
The school will cover topics in the following areas: conformal field theory, cosmology, string compactifications, holography, black holes.
The programย of the school will consist of five series of pedagogical lectures, complemented by discussion sessions.
Invited speakers include: Victor Gorbenko, Mariana Graรฑa, Petr Kravchuk, Henry Lin, Shiraz Minwalla
Local organizers: Alba Grassi, Monica Guica, Kyriakos Papadodimas, Shota Komatsu, Irene Valenzeula, Sasha Zhiboedov
