Reception
We will serve drinks and dinner in the evening on 11th November at the Foyer of the venue. The reception will end at 20:00.
Workshop dinner
The workshop dinner will be on 13th November from 18:15 to 20:45 on a charted boat (Yakatabune). The boat will depart from a port (Azumabashi Pier) near Asakusa at 18:15. The boat will go down the Sumida river and will go around the Tokyo bay during the dinner. The fee is included in the registration. If you have a preference or restrictions about foods, please contact local organisers.
Participants who join the excursion: You can walk from Asakusa to the port in about 15 minutes.
Participants who don't join the excursion: The port is at about 10 minutes walk from the Asakusa station (G19 and A18) of the Ginza line and Asakusa line. From the Ueno station, the Asakusa station is the third stop.

We set two meeting points, there will be local participants to guide you. You can join from any meeting points

Excursion: half day tour
On 13th November, Thursday, we have a half-day bus tour in the afternoon, before the workshop dinner. The tour is optional, and costs 7000 JPY per person. If you join the tour, please pay the fee by 30th September.
The bus will depart from the university after the lunch at 14:00 at this point.

The course is
- Imperial Palace Plaza: walking outside, you can see the mighty ancient walls of the Edo castle. (a model course)
- National Diet Building: see from the bus
- Tokyo tower: view from the observation deck
- Kabuki-za: see from the bus, the principal theater in Ginza
- Asakusa: walking, the oldest temple in Tokyo
After the tour, the bus we can walk to the port where we get on a chartered boat for the workshop dinner.
