Lodging

There are several options to stay here at UW.

Private Dorm Rooms

Register here for the Dorm Rooms

  • These are private rooms, with included shower, and single occupancy. They are nice dorm rooms (not as nice as the below hotels, of course, but nice - the organizer stayed in them a few years ago for a local workshop).
  • The housing is located at Lander Hall, and check-in is at Alder Hall.
  • Dates are done in block (your reservation must include these dates): July 13-July 17.
  • Rates:
    • July 13-17: 564.00
    • Early Arrival on July 12: $134.75 in addition
    • Late Departure on July 18: 134.75 in addition
  • The rooms are single occupancy, but the layout is the double you see on this page.
  • Last day to request a dorm room: June 11!!!

Hotels

These first two hotels have discounts for the physics department. Booking is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Their location is quite close to the physics department (a short walk!). In all cases prices will increase as we get closer: summer is a busy hotel season around the University.

There are also lots of other hotels in walking distance that are not associated with the physics department. Booking.com usually has good rates.

Other Options

There are plenty of other options. AirBnB or VRBO, for example. You can also stay in the downtown hotels and then travel by light rail (including walking to the light rail station expect it will take about 30 minutes).
