Description
"Ventana Celeste" is a project designed to democratize astronomy education by bridging abstract concepts with physical experience. Addressing barriers such as equipment costs and light pollution, we developed a "phygital" ecosystem that transforms smartphones and custom hardware into interactive telescope simulators. Grounded in embodied learning, the system allows users to internalize celestial coordinates and optical principles through physical movement. We present the design of four distinct implementations: (1) an autonomous museum station, (2) a high-fidelity mediated museum replica, (3) a portable didactic kit for schools, and (4) an accessible home version. We discuss the design principles and the potential of this ecosystem to foster scientific literacy across different contexts.
