Upon arrival at Royal Holloway, University of London, on Monday 14 September, please proceed to the Collaboration Meeting desk located in the Windsor Building, to register and collect your badge. A lunch buffet will be served for all participants from 12.00 p.m. (location to be confirmed). The first plenary session will take place in the Windsor Building Auditorium from 1.00 p.m.

Getting to Royal Holloway campus

RHUL campus is just seven miles (~11 km) from Heathrow Airport.
Please note that there is no direct train line from Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 to Royal Holloway campus.
A local bus service operated by First Bus (Line 8: Heathrow Terminal 5 - Slough) runs outside of Royal Holloway, and serves several bus stops on the A30: timetable. Nearby bus stop locations can be seen on the campus map. Cash, contactless or tickets bought on the First Bus apps are all acceptable.

It is possible to take a taxi or VTC from Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 to Royal Holloway (not reimbursed for CERN participants). Estimated cost of the journey: ~£35 depending on traffic and the company. For more details on getting to Royal Holloway campus by taxi: link.
Special shuttles
For an easy transfer from Heathrow airport Terminal 5 to Royal Holloway on Monday 14 September, special shuttle buses will be provided at no cost for participants arriving on the following flights (or on other flights if the arrival time is earlier):
- Swiss: Geneva 7.30 a.m. - London Heathrow 8.15 a.m.
- British Airways: Geneva 10.10 a.m. - London Heathrow 11.00 a.m.
For the transfer from Royal Holloway to Heathrow Terminal 5 on Wednesday 16 September after the closing session, special shuttle buses will be provided at no cost for participants traveling on the following flights (or other flights if the departure time is later):
- Swiss: London Heathrow 7.15 p.m. - Geneva 10.0 p.m.
- British Airways: London Heathrow 8.30 p.m. - Geneva 11.05 p.m.
The meeting points as well as pick-up and drop-off times will be announced in due time.
Participants wishing to use these special shuttles between Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 and Royal Holloway will be requested to register via a dedicated form (available in early July) in order to reserve a seat on the bus. The journey to and from RHUL is estimated at approximately 30 minutes.
