Description

Thermoelectric material is very important in the future, because the materials could be used as renewable energy. The PbTe group material prepared by hydrothermal preparation method was studied. Thermoelectric AgPb`${}_{18}$`SbTe`${}_{20}$` alloys were prepare by hydrothermal method at 180 ${}^{\circ}$C for 20 h from AgNO${}_3$, Pb(NO${}_3$)${}_2$, SbCl${}_3$ and TeO${}_2$ compounds and were dried in vacuum furnace for 6 h. The products were investigated by x-ray diffractometer (XRD). The patterns of PbTe in the planes (200) and (220) were observed in the powder sample. Next parts, the powder will be prepared to bulk materials and investigated thermoelectric properties.
