Accomodation
A limited number of rooms will be available for booking on-site in the CERN hostel (http://gs-dep.web.cern.ch/en/CERN_Housing) for registered conference participants. These rooms will be made available on a first-come first-served basis.
Please note that as October the 1st, 50% of the available rooms have been assigned to registrants: if you are interested to this option please hurry up.
In the registration process you can choose this option (only if you register before October the 10th) and you will be contacted by us with the instruction to finalise your hotel reservation.
This website contains some information about nearby hostels. No special rates have been negotiated for this workshop other than a potential CERN discount which might be applicable.
Please note that hotels in the Geneva area provide you with a bus ticket valid during your stay. In general all of them can be reached with public transports (http://tpg.ch). If arriving by plane, next to the baggage claim you can get a free bus ticket to get you to your hotel or to CERN.
Accomodation in the nearby France is possible but public transport is less effective.
CERN is at the end station of Tramway 18 (destination: CERN) and on the Bus Y. The bus Y serves some French villages next to CERN and connects CERN to the airport as well.
