Travel information

How to come to SUBATECH/Mines Nantes 

SUBATECH is locaded inside of an engineering school - the Ecole des Mines de Nantes - in the North of Nantes. The School is installed in a group buildings made of glass which are located on the  east bank of the Erdre river in an area called "la Chantrerie".
The SUBATECH staff is spread over several buildings, the main buildings are numbered E, H and J.

Coming by car...

From Paris or Angers

Take the exit # 23 La Beaujoire Nantes East,  towards "La Chantrerie".

From Rennes

Follow the signs "Angers and Paris". Take the exit # 24 "Nantes Est".

From Cholet

Take the East ring road towards "Rennes-Vannes", exit at "Porte de La Beaujoire" then follow signs to "St. Joseph de Porterie". Go through the town and follow the signs to "Atlanpole" and to "Ecole des Mines".

From Bordeaux

Take the southern ring road towards "Angers" and "Paris". Follow the directions to "Rennes-Vannes" exit at "Porte La Beaujoire" then follow the signs to "St. Joseph de Porterie". Go through the town and follow the signs to "Atlanpole" and to "Ecole des Mines".

From Vannes and St-Nazaire

Follow the directions to Paris and take the exit # 24 "Nantes Est".


Coming by train or plane...

You will have to use the public transports to reach the laboratory.

From the train station

At the railway station ("Gare SNCF Nord") take the Tram ligne 1 to "La Beaujoire" and exit at the last stop (terminus).

Walk to the bus stop and take the Chronobus # 6 or the bus # 75 to the stop "Chantrerie Grandes Ecoles".

From the airport

Take the airport shuttle at the stop called "Nantes Atlantique Bouguenais" and get off at the stop named "Commerce".

Then take tram line 1 to "La Beaujoire" to the terminus. Walk to the bus stop and take the  Chronobus # 6 or the bus # 75 get out at the stop "Chantrerie Grandes Ecoles".
