Description
A major new experiment has been proposed for systematically studying the
properties of Quark-Gluon Plasma with jet probes and upsilon production at RHIC. One of the major detector systems of the experiment is an accordion-like hadronic calorimeter (HCal) which consists two segments sandwiching a superconducting solenoid magnet. This poster will present the results from the first HCal prototype beam test at Fermilab and the plans for the second HCal prototype to be tested in Spring of 2016.
