parallel talk Neutrinos

Speaker

Dr David Vanegas Forero (Center for Neutrino Physics, Virginia Tech)

Description

In this talk the three neutrino framework that describes the standard neutrino oscillations will be briefly introduced enphasizing on the role of the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment. After the introduction, the Daya Bay power to constraint charge current non-standard neutrino interactions (NSI) will be presented. The impact of the systematical error in the total normalization of the events on the constraints obtained will be discussed.
