Description
Conclusions and Future Work
Due to the large amount of data the GRID is very suited for computation and data handling. With account of a possibility to regulate the rupture trajectory, a practical problem arises to take preventive measures to control the direction of energy emission at an earthquake through preliminary creation of the field of defects of a definite structure. Another application is detailed and accurate analysis of the seismic waves trajectories in real geo-massifs. This accuracy is important for novel methods of gas and oil exploration

Detailed analysis
Detailed theory of the mechanical behaviour of geological massifs in the linear approximation, for which exists the simple analytical or semi-analytucal models, does not bring sufficiently satisfactory results, since the real continuum of geomechanics is essentially non-linear and non-uniform. The behaviour of geological structures under external affections is critically important. This is related to huge scales of possible implications - affecting both both humans and materials - resulting from ``geological'' emergencies. Among such emergencies we can name earthquakes, mudflows and earth shell dynamics. Of considerable interest are inverse mathematical problems of waves propagation in non-linear continuum, connected with mineral exploration activities. Because the specific mathematical properties and pecularities of the metrics which can be generated of the internal defects distribution, the Finsler space (FS) is broadly used for this problems solution.

Impact
We can build the continuous field of the rays propagation directions by the detailed computer analysis of received seysmic signals. This analysis demands intensive computation and is thus very suitable for gridifacation. At each point of the ray trajectory we can reconstruct the mechanical properties of the continuum, since we can calulate the metric as the function of Hamiltonian and the indicatrix is constructed. The rays direction can be defined as the normal vector to the indicatrix. It follows from definition of properties of FS that due to the dependence the metric tensor from arguments $x^i, \xi^i $, the notion of orthogonality in the Finsler space is asymmetric relative to $\xi^{i},\;\eta ^{j}$. Now we can compute direct and inverse problems. Direct problem: to find the set of indicatrix and rays trajectories on the basis of the given distribution of the defects in earth area. Inverse one: from known properties of given source and signal to find defects (internal) structure of the geomassif.
