    This presentation describes a sketch of the gravitational wave detector LIGO. It introduces concepts of match filtering in analyzing experimental data and outlines the required computational resources and one realization - the Atlas computing cluster, respectively the HTCondor framework. Finally, results of the experiment are presented.
