Description
In 2014, vacuum insulated transfer lines have been installed on CMS in order to feed with CO2 coolant the Phase I Pixel detector. Three different designs have been used in order to cope with the severe space constraints. The performances of the lines have been assessed during the CO2 plant commissioning in 2015. We present the results of the performance tests, the studies performed in order to understand the non-conformities and the remedy applied in order to match the system requirements.
