Description
Following a brief background review, we will go through the benefits and drawbacks of the PED for the industry. Main changes compared to the old national regulations and to the recently published new version (2014) will be considered as well as the notified body, category and module.
Moreover, European and International standards published or in preparation for cryogenic vessels, accessories and materials will be described.
Lastly, we will discuss the possible requalification of national design vessels which is not yet included in the PED.
