From most of the West End hotels it's an easy walk to the Kelvin Building. If you are staying at the Pond Hotel it's about 30 minutes to walk, but you can alternatively get a bus along Great Western Road (6 or 6a [1]) and walk for 10 minutes.
When you arrive at the Kelvin Building the main entrance is being refurbished, so use the side vehicle entrance instead:
From there, turn left almost immediately and walk into the building on Level 1, though two set of double doors. Take the stairs up to Level 2. Turn left at the top and walk past the janitors box. Keep going through double doors and along the corridor for about 30 metres. You will arrive at larger open area where both the main lecture theatre (222) and the registration desk (220) are.
