Description
The opening session will welcome you to EGEEโ09 and Barcelona. Following welcomes from the local organiser, and the national and regional governments there will be an overview of the EGEE project and its current status. After this introduction there will be two keynote presentations that reflect on activities within Spain covering the use of the Life Sciences community of the Spanish Grid and then how the High Energy Physics community of the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid is being served by the Spanish Tier 1.
