Description
The European Earth Science Grid community is currently organized around different projects and Virtual Organisations. The organization of the wider grid user community will change radically with the transition from project-based grid infrastructures to the European Grid Infrastructure (EGI). In previous workshops or within projects we had the opportunity to share the Grid experience on specific topics and in small groups. It has been decided to propose one ES Specialized Support Centre (SSC) in the EGI framework. At the time of the EGEEโ09 conference discussions via teleconferences, meetings, mailing would be carried to define the content and organization of the future SSC. Documents and proposals should be written and circulated. This session will be an opportunity for the potential partners to meet, to discuss in details the ES SSC content, organization and finalize the proposals.
