Description
Grid Information Systems are mission-critical components in todayโs production Grid infrastructures. They enable users, applications and services to discover which services exist in the infrastructure and further information about their service structure and state. Over recent years, a number of Grid projects have emerged and have deployed Grid Information System to support their infrastructures. A significant amount of experience has been gained during this time and improvements have been made to increase the scalability, reliability and robustness of these systems. This session provides a consolation of this experience and a perspective towards the future direction of Grid Information Systems.
