How to get to CERN

From Geneva International Airport - Cointrin

Taxi - approximately 35CHF.

CERN Shuttle - If you arrive between 08h00 and 19h00 during the week, you might also use the CERN shuttle

Bus - The International Airport of Geneva offers all arriving passengers a free "Tout Geneve" ticket, valid for 80 minutes, available from a machine situated in the baggage reclaim zone.
Take bus Y, direction CERN. Or bus number 23 direction 'ZIPLO', and at 'Blandonnet' take tramway 18 towards CERN. See the TPG web site for full details.

From Geneva Railway Station - Cornavin

Tramway number 18 towards "CERN" until the final stop at the CERN entrance.
Ticket costs 3 CHF (Ticket "Tout Genève" on the ticket machine).

Follow signs for "Aéroport", "Lyon" and "Meyrin".
From Meyrin, follow signs for "St. Genis" (France). CERN site is on the left on "route de Meyrin", just before the border.

Follow signs for "Gex" or "St. Genis". CERN is on your right immediately after the border.
