      SUSY RPC studies 20m
Speaker: Dr Kechen Wang (DESY / IHEP)

I summarize what we discussed today as the following.

We discussed a few files, which I upload on the webpage
      "https://indico.cern.ch/event/622866/".

      (1) About the "p e- > j e- lep vl" background:
we discussed the possible detector acceptance from the Delphes card files for FCC-eh and LHeC, and also from one slides about Higgs invisible decay.
The basic threshold cuts for lepon and jets can be p_T > 20 GeV,
while the eta range can be |eta|< 5.0 (or other numbers from Delphes card file ).
Monica, can you confirm the numbers ?

This background can be estimated by applying the detector acceptance for leptons and jets firstly, then select the number of leptons and jets to be exactly 1.

The p_T distributions of both leptons for this background will be helpful to set the cuts.

The tau background needs to be treated carefully since it can either leptonically decay or hadronically decay.

      (2) For the background processes:
We checked and expected the interference of different sub-processes could be small,
thus I can separate into different sub-processes and generate each sub-processes one by one.

We can also use the background data from the "Higgs invisible decay study", if they can share their data.

      (3) When m_neutralino2 (~ m_chargino1) – m_neutralino1 > 5 GeV:

We discussed "leptonical decay of W/Z vis hadronical decay".

I will focus on the leptonical decay so far and will plot the distributions of the decaying leptons.

But the hadronical decay may be more sensitive at e-p colliders ?
Not clear whether it is true.
Monica will review the "leptonical decay of W/Z vis hadronical decay" at LHC.
This may provide some useful information for our study.

      (4) We decided to meet next Monday the same time.
We also decided to have a bigger meeting with more audience for the meeting two weeks later.

Please feel free to add contents or make modifications.

      Best regards,
      Kechen
