Scientific Programme

The workshop will be held on two full days and will consist of four main sessions.

  • Session 1: Context and status of Physics BSM working group projects
  • Session 2: Context and status of Physics QCD working group projects
  • Session 3: Status of Accelerator working groups and studies
  • Session 4: New experimental ideas - this session will aim at collecting further ideas from the community for possible new experimental programmes exploiting the unique features of CERN.

Presentations in Sessions 1, 2 and 3 will be by invitation only. The corresponding projects are documented on the PBC web site //cern.ch/pbc

Presentations in Session 4 will follow a new call for abstracts open to the whole international community, similar to that of the 2016 kick-off workshop. Abstracts will be reviewed by the PBC coordinators and the presentation programme defined accordingly. Presentations are expected to be short in order to leave room for lively discussion.
