Welcome cocktail
The welcome cocktail will take place on the first day of the meeting (Monday July 16) in the panoramic room on the 24th floor of the Jussieu (Zamansky) tower. It is located directly on the Jussieu campus (see "Venue" for details), 2 minutes away from the conference auditorium. More precise information about the schedule and practical details will be given later.
Excursion and conference dinner
The excursion and conference dinner will be combined. The conference dinner will take place in the restaurant of the Orsay museum on Thursday July 19. Before the dinner, all Boost participants (and accompanying persons) will be given free access to the Orsay museum.
There are several ways to access the Orsay museum from the conference venue:
- take metro line 10 from Jussieu (direction Boulogne-Pont de Saint Cloud) to Cluny-La-Sorbonne (1 stop) and connect to the RER C line. Exit at the "Musee D'Orsay" stop which is right in front of the museum. Note that the connection is about a 10 minutes walk.
- walk to Saint-Michel Notre Dame (about 15 minutes from Jussieu) and take the RER C line to the "Musee D'Orsay" stop which is right in front of the museum.
- take a nice walk along the Seine river from Jussieu to the Orsay museum. It takes about 40 minutes.
