Poster Session

This page is dedicated to the poster session held on Saturday May 25th.

Thirty eight school attendants produced a poster describing their ongoing research activity, The 38 posters are all posted in the TIMETABLE page of this website, together with the photograph of the presnter during the posters session.

The presenter had 9 minutes to present her/his poster. Some left a few minutes for questions.

 The three best posters have been selected on June 13.

                                         Selection Procedure:
The Selection was done by both the school attendants who presented the posters and the jury of 8 evaluators [Joao Pedro Barreiro Guimaraes da Costa, IHEP-CAS (CN), Dorothea Vom Bruch, LPNHE-CNRS, Paris-Sorbonne (FR), Rogerio Iope, UNESP (BR), Lara Lloret Iglesias, IFCA, CSIC (SP), Jesus Marco de Lucas (CSIC, SP), Ricardo Paoletti, INFN-Pisa & Siena University (It), Aurore Savoy-Navarro, IRFU-CEA, Paris-Saclay (FR), Yoshinobu Unno, KEK (JP)] who participated to the overall posters presentation on May 25 at HUST. They then discussed over emails about the evaluation that each one made and how to combine with the Students selection results. The selection was quite difficult because a number of very good posters and oral presentation.


Final results:
                                   Best Poster: Dan ZHANG
BS at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China.
Now at Doctoral Program in the Department of Physics of the University of Maryland, USA.
She works on “WIMP Direct Detection with PANDAX-4T Detector

                     2nd Best Poster: Patrick MORIISHI FREEMAN
Master of Science in Physics at the University of California in Santa Cruz.
Now PhD  at the University of Birmingham, Department of Physics and Astronomy, UK
He works in the ATLAS experiment at CERN-LHC.


                                      3rd Best Poster: Anyi LI
Undergraduate at the Ji Luan College, at the Automation School of Qianhu and Information Engineering, Nanchang University, Nanchang, China.


Their posters as well as the ones of all the students who participated to this poster session (38 in total) are available in the Posters session in the TIMETABLE section, with the photo of each presenter.
 

The three winners are invited to produce a paper related to the topic they presented in their poster. This paper will be part of the JINST proceedings of the School, after submission to and acceptation by this peered review Journal.
