Travel to Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-provence is the home town of the famous painter Paul Cézanne. This city of water and art, located in the south of France was the former capital of Provence. Aix has a Mediterranean climate with more than 300 days of sunshine per year.

Fly to Aix-en-Provence

The nearest international airport is the Aéroport Marseille Provence. There is a public shuttle bus (line 40) every 30 min from the airport to Aix-en-Provence downtown (the fare is about 8 €), from where you can easily get to any hotel by taxi or with the public transport bus service of Aix-en-Provence.

Take the train to Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-Provence has two railway station. One (Aix-en-Provence Centre) is located in the downtown of the city whereas the other one (Aix-en-Provence TGV) is situated at 15 km. The same public shuttle bus (line 40) than for the Airport permit to connect the outside railway station with the Aix-en-Provence downtown.
