Description
An up-to-date profile of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix is given with emphasis on the interpretation of recent results on CP violation. A review of all relevant experimental and theoretical inputs from the contributing domains of electroweak interaction are provided together with numerical and graphical constraints on the CKM parameters and predictions of related physical observables. We discuss the impact of what the data actually say on studies of new physics and contraints on its parameters are derived.
